Summary CM Punjab has said that the nation will reject looters and thieves in the upcoming elections.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the federal government has failed to pay any attention to the severe energy crisis.Talking to PML-N workers in London, he said that President of PML-N Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is the only national leader, who can bring the country out of crises and put it on the road to progress and prosperity.He said that it is an honour that, during last four and a half years, there has not been even a single spot of corruption on the Punjab government and, as Chief Minister Punjab; he has tried to discharge his responsibilities in an efficient manner.Shahbaz Sharif said that every step taken by Punjab government was aimed at progress and welfare of the people of province, due to which popularity of PML-N has increased manifold, which is a proof of people’s trust in PML-N.He said despite a passage of four and a half years, people are still suffering due to load shedding.The incompetent government has destroyed national economy; devastated profit-earning national institutions while the decisions of the court are being openly ridiculed, he added.He said that federal government has failed to pay any attention to the severe energy crisis.The Chief Minister said that the nation is looking forward towards general elections, in which it would completely reject the looters and thieves who have deprived the poor even of basic necessities like food in order to fill their coffers.Shahbaz Sharif said that he has held long-term negotiations with foreign experts during his visit to Turkey, Britain and Germany, in order to acquire latest technology, especially in solar energy sector to solve power crisis, along with inking many agreements in this regard.He said that Turkish and German companies are interested in investing in energy sector in Punjab, and in the last week of October, an energy road show is being conducted for Punjab in Turkey, in which all energy-related companies of Turkey will participate.The CM said that during the round table sessions in London, it was agreed to promote mutual cooperation between British universities and Punjab Energy Research and Development Center.
