US must stop drone attacks, says Imran

PTI chief Imran Khan said this was addressing a rally in Tank where he concluded his Waziristan Peace March after authorities did not allow it to go further.Imran in his address slammed the done attacks by the US and condemned the killing of innocent people of Waziristan.He said he had conveyed the message to the world community that drone attacks were unacceptable.He also asked President Asif Ali Zardari to shun American bondage and raise voice for the people of Pakistan. “America is not God, Allah is God,” Imran said addressing President Zardari.Government was hypocritical and says one thing to people another to Americans, he added.No political leader has ever dared to come even to Tank to show solidarity with the war-torn people and IDPs.Imran promised that his party would ensure peace and prosperity in the tribal areas.Towards the end of his address Imran Khan once again came hard on Moulana Fazl. “If Moulana Sahib himself cannot serve the tribal people, he should not stop us from doing so,” he said.“Moulana propagated that Jews and Christians were coming to Waziristan,” Imran said.He said he had decided to end the peace march in Tank after military and political authorities did not allow it to proceed further due to security concerns.Earlier Pakistan army officials stopped the peace march at Cor check post. After dialogues the PTI leadership decided not to go further and to hold public meeting in Tank.A large number of women and children took part in the march.Imran thanked the participants for joining the peace march despite threats.
