Earlier the peace-march of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which began from Islamabad for South Waziristan reached Dera Ismail Khan on Saturday evening. After the caravan reached in Dera Ismail Khan‚ the district administration has tightened security in connection with the PTI march. In the meantime, a red alert has been declared in Tank as part of arrangements to provide security to the participants of the march.Addressing the people gathered to welcome the march‚ Imran Khan said the peace march is aimed at showing solidarity with the people of the tribal areas. He said we are trying to save the people of the tribal areas from the harms caused by the drone attacks.Imran Khan along with other leaders of PTI stayed in Hathala, a suburban town near DI Khan, for night and restart their march towards their destination on Sunday morning and reach Tank. But the Tank administration has decided not to allow entry to the participants of the peace march in the city. More than 1,400 police and FC personnel have been deployed to stop participants of the peaces march to enter Tank and army would be called in if needed.Meanwhile, containers have been places on roads in Tank, Manghi Khel, Kore Qila, South Wasiristan, Bannu, Peezo, Lakki Marwat to stop peace march.The political administration has said that Imran Khan will not be allowed to enter South Waziritan and police, Khasadar Force and Levies personnel have been deployed on the roads leading to South Waziritan.
