Summary The LHC Friday sought performance report from the committee formed for service structure of doctors.
During the proceedings, a petitioner Azhar Siddique Advocate told court that doctors are not turning aside from observing strikes despite court’s orders.He maintained that court has to initiate contempt of court charges against doctors.The Advocate General Punjab told court that the committee that was formed to prepare recommendations for service structures of the doctors is finalizing its recommendations and demanded more time from the court.Upon which, the court ordered the committee to present performance report regarding service structure of doctors and adjourned the hearing till October 17.
