Summary Former PM Yusuf Raza Gilani has said that the Parliament had failed to assert its authority.
Talking to media persons at Lahore airport, Yousuf Raza Gilani said that he had left his residence at the Presidency and was going to masses for his future politics.Gilani said that Bangladesh-model of political system was working in the country and decisions were being taken somewhere else while the Parliament existed just in name.He said the parliament had failed to exercise its authority and the parliamentarians should have protested at the time when their boss was ousted.Gilani further said he had stopped depending on the government and was going to the masses to continue his politics.My wings have been clipped but I am learning to fly again,” he said.
