Summary PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif said he was struggling to bring peace in Balochistan.
Being a Pakistani it is his duty to restore peace and bring prosperity in the war-torn areas in the province, said Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.Speaking to media along with Asma Jehangir at her residence here, Sharif said that free and fair election was also a demand of the Baloch politicians. He said that election in 2008 was not transparent.He said that he would even make a grand alliance to resolve Balochistan issue if it needed.Sharif urged the government not to ignore Balochistan issue, seeking explanation as under which law, the people were being abducted in Balochistan.Nawaz Sharif reiterated that killers of Nawaz Akbar Khan Bugti be brought to book. He said that wounds of Baloch be healed, adding that wounds like killing of Nawab Bugti could not be healed soon.The former prime minister said that he was talking about national interest and that he had no personal interest.Asma Jehangir applauded Nawaz Sharif’s views on Balochistan and said that it was good gesture that Punjab’s leader was talking about Balochistan issue.
