Summary Supreme Court orders NAB to immediately arrest former chairman OGRA.
The Supreme Court has ordered the NAB to arrest former Chairman Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority Tauqir Sadiq. A three member-bench of the Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday resumed the hearing of a case pertaining to OGRA’s malpractices.The chief justice ordered the initiation of proceedings against Tauqir Sadiq in accordance with the laws.NAB’s prosecutor told the court that a reference had been prepared against Sadiq which would be filed in two days’ time.
