Summary The government has decided to reduce petroleum prices by Rs 6 per liter from 1st of October.
Government of Pakistan has issued notification for reduction of petrol price by Rs 6.Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) had sent a summary to the ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources and Ministry of Finance, recommending reduction in the prices of petroleum products.According to sources, OGRA recommended cut in high speed diesel (HSD) by 40 paisa, light diesel oil by 14 paisa while prices of kerosene to decrease by 40 paisa. To maintain the 60 percent parity between price of petrol and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), authority has asked to reduce the price of CNG by Rs 5.70 per kg.After this reduction new price of Petroleum products would be Petrol Rs 102.45 against 108.45 current price, High Speed Diesel would be Rs 113.16 per liter, Light Diesel Oil (LDO) would be Rs 96.22 and kerosene oil would be Rs 101.23 per liter.
