Summary At least 11 people were killed in incidents of violence and target killing in Karachi.

According to details, some unidentified gunmen shot dead an activist of a political party, Moeen, in Kaghzi Bazaar area of Kharadar while Muhammad Akram was shot dead in Orangi Town.Miscreants shot dead a youth named Qasim near Water Pump while police have recovered an mutilated boday of a youth from Khayaban Rahat area of Defence.Two people were shot dead in separate incidents of target killing in Baldia and Mahmoodabad areas. Police have also recovered two built-riddled bodies from Shah Latif Town.Meanwhile, funeral prayer of three activists of Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen, Nisar, Bilal and Zahid, was offered at Numaish Chorangi. Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen also staged a sit-in at Numaish Chorangi and demanded release of its workers from police custody. The protesters dispersed peacefully after police released the arrested persons.Tension prevailed in different areas of the city due to recent incidents of target killing. Markets and trade centres in Golimar, Gulbahar and Soldier Bazaar remained closed.
