The Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned hearing in the contempt of court case against Interior Minister Rehman Malik till October 1, Dunya News reported.During the hearing, Malik’s lawyer, Chaudhry Azhar, told court that his client could not appear because he was not available in the country.He assured the bench that Rehman Malik will appear personally in the next hearing and requested the court to adjourn the case hearing for a week.Later, the case hearing was adjourned till Octber 1.The apex court had issued a notice against Malik for engaging in contempt of court in the Pakistan Steel Mills case for allegedly influencing the investigation.
