Summary Punjab govt has said cases will be registered against party leaders in case of violent protests.
Talking to Dunya News CCPO Lahore Aslam Tareen said the decision had been taken after the violence during protests in Lahore in which public and private properties were damaged.He said security would be provided to peaceful rallies but strict action would be taken against those whose would try to damage properties.Tareen said details of the arrested activists have been provided to the party leaders, adding if the activists of were found involved in violence, cases would be registered against the party leaders.He said a committee has been constituted to monitor the protest rallies.
