The government has chalked out a comprehensive plane to ensure security for Youm-e-Ishq Rasool (PBUH) which is being observed today across the country.The law enforcement agencies have been put on high alert after Thursday’s demonstration in the federal capital, Islamabad.Army has also been put on alert to avert any untoward incident. Helicopters would be used to monitor the protest rallies in the major cities.Rangers have been put on high alert in Karachi and personnel of law enforcement agencies will be on duty for the security of sensitive areas in the city. IG Sindh has issued direction for tight security during Juma prayers.Chief Minister Punjab has also ordered for tight security during protest rallies in connection with Youm-e-Ishq Rasool (PBUH). Meanwhile, security has also been stepped up in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
