Summary PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi says corruption is the biggest hurdle in the way of progress.
Addressing a gathering of the political workers of PTI’s Okara chapter, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that educated and competent human resource is facing sheer disappointment on the way to searching for jobs. This is so because nepotism is common and it is impossible to get a job in the government organisations without bribing the high-ups, he maintained. In the current scenario there is a dire need for ‘change’ and PTI represents the change, which will lead the country towards obvious social justice, he maintained. He said the relief work in the flood-affected areas is ineffective.Qureshi said the nation has been divided on sectarian, political and ethnic basis, while the government is busy in appeasing its allies. In contradiction with the ideology of the Quaid-e-Azam, Pakistan has turned into an extremist state where incidents of terrorism occur frequently, the PTI leader observed. He emphasised that a sincere and fearless leadership is indispensable to deal with all the problems Pakistan confronts and stated that only such a leadership can have the courage to retaliate against the frequent drone attacks.
