Summary Menon wants conditional relations with Pakistan while Krishna is in favour of unconditional ties.

India’s Advisor on National Security Shiv Shankar Menon is emphasizing on conditional relations with Pakistan while minister for external affair S.M. Krishnan is in favour of unconditional ties.On the issue regarding bilateral relation with Pakistan, a divide has come to the fore within circles of the Indian administration.According to Indian newspaper Times of India, an international level meeting was held in New Delhi where several foreign Ambassadors were also attended the meeting.While addressing the meeting, Indian PM Manmohan Singh and important personalities said that Pakistan couldn’t be prevented from terrorism.The reports show that Pakistan and India has different conflict on foreign and external affairs while in meeting the minister for external affairs SM Krishna to restore the relation with Pakistan is the beauty of democracy.Krishna said that Pakistan wants to establish relationship with India and Pakistan Civil government has good relation with India while consensus of ISI and army is also with them.Difference of opinion remain on the issues of relation with Pakistan remained during important meeting of diplomats.However, no one was agreed upon breaking up ties with Pakistan and everyone was agreed on establishing relation with Pakistan and important country of region.
