NAB has submitted its detailed statement about current sugar crisis in the Supreme Court in which it is told that President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Humayun Akhtar are not the owners of sugar mills. NAB prosecutor Abdul Baseer has submitted supplementary document as detailed statement in the Supreme Court today. According to the statement, President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Humayun Akhtar have no sugar mill. Earlier, NAB chairman had presented report of 2006 sugar crisis during the hearing of case regarding sugar prices in the Supreme Court on September 24. It was told in the report that politicians have monopoly on sugar industry and sugar mill owners hoarded the sugar in 2006. According to the report, sugar mill owners include President Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Jahangir Tareen, Mian Azhar, Anwer Cheema, Nusratullah Dareshak, Haroon Akhtar, Mian Altaf Saleem, Shamim Khan and others.
