At least 11 people were killed and 58 injured in a suicide car blast in Peshawar near CMH on Saturday, reported Dunya News. The blast was quite powerful and damaged the nearby buildings, vehicles and property. According to the recent reports, nine bodies and 50 injured have been brought to the Reading Hospital. Banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has accepted the responsibility of the blast. The blast sound was heard in far off areas. Dunya News Correspondent told that the bomb was placed in a vehicle. Many foreign offices are located in the area and it is being said they were the prime target in this blast. Police have arrested two suspects including a foreigner from the spot. Bomb disposal squad told that above 100kg explosive was used in the blast. The injured include kids and women as well. The foreigner who was arrested from the spot had a video camera with him which the forces have seized. This is the second blast during one year in the same area. President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and other national leaders have condemned the blast. The attendance in the offices was low after Eid so less numbers of people are believed dead. Security officials have surrounded the area. Emergency has been announced in the hospitals while Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has condemned the attack.
