He is on his one-day visit to Lahore for preparation of strategy for general polls.While talking to the media at Governor House Lahore, he said that present government would complete its tenure.Talking about democratic situation, he said that he had transferred his powers to the parliament in accordance his own freewill.He also awarded achievement awards to 26 personalities.The president said that the government stands by the people in every time of test.He said that they will not leave the affectees alone in hour of need.President Zardarisaid fire incidents in factories are a tragic phenomenon.Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira was also present on the occasion.Zardari vowed to make govt in Punjab after victory innext coming general polls.He said that the PPP would take care while delivering party tickets among sincere and committed comrades.Deputy PM Pervaiz Elahi called on President Asif Ali Zardari and discussed law and order situation.
