Summary Qamar Zaman Kaira says court must punish those who level baseless charges against others.
Addressing a press conference Monday he said leader of a political party had hurled baseless charges against him and went to court without verification.Information minister said it was done only for political points-coring and distorted facts and figures were provided to the court.He demanded that court must take action against those who are misinforming it.He said the leader of an Opposition party was trying to use court against him, adding every matter should not be taken to court without any verification.“I have been maligned personally and I will provide the record to the court if it summoned me,” Qaira said.He said secret fund was used for the welfare of deserving working journalists and press clubs.
