Summary Khursheed continues to defend Sindh People's Government Ordinance.
Addressing the media at the inaugural ceremony of Nusrat Bhutto international university in Sukkur, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Khursheed shah said PML-N has no future in Sindh and even Punjab.Khursheed Shah asked PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to take legal action against PPP leaders if he considered they had been involved in corruption.He said that everyone opposed the new Sindh LG ordinance without even reading the text, saying that the government gave Larkana and Sukkur the status of metropolitan.He said the government has not discussed the interim setup of government with the opposition as yet. However, opposition has been taken on board while making amendments in constitution and presenting 111 bills and acts, he added.He said his party still believed in politics of reconciliation. Shah said that the bill would be discussed among the PML-N membership, adding that it was a very important one.Referring to the reaction of nationalists over ordinance, Khursheed Shah said: “It is their right; we give them the right to shut doors, shops and routes.”Shah said nationalists would participate in elections and beat PPP, adding that if 1,000 people come out and block roads, people won’t come out of their houses out of fear.
