Summary Heavy rainfall is expected in most parts of the country during next 12 hours.
According to the Metrological Department, during next 12 hours, widespread rain and thundershower with scattered heavy falls expected in most parts of the country including Karachi‚ Southern Punjab‚ upper Sindh and lower Khyber-PakhtunkhwaIt added that low air pressure will enter Pakistan during next thirty-two hours which is expected to cause heavy downpours in the areas.While issuing severe weather warning, the Met Office reported that massive rainfall may cause flooding in rivers and streams of Dera Ghazi Khan‚ Multan‚ Bahawalpur‚ Sukkur‚ Larkana‚ Zhob‚ Sibbi‚ Naseerabad‚ Kohat and Bannu.Meanwhile, rain water accumulated in low-lying areas in Latiabad and Tando Yousuf due to heavy rain in Hyderabad. Emergency has been declared in the city as more rain is expected today.
