Summary
The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced election schedule for the formation of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly. Returning officer has been appointed under the supervision of civil judges to make the election process transparent. According to election schedule, nomination papers will be submitted from October 1 while the objections will be filed with the returning officer on October 9. Final list of the candidates will be released on October 15 after scrutiny of nomination papers while election symbols will be allotted on October 17. The results will be announced on November 14 after November 12 elections.
