Summary Former Sindh CM Ali Muhammad Mehr joined Pakistan Peoples Party on Wednesday.
Ali Muhammad Mehr said he was joining PPP along with his colleagues unconditionally as the party has given respect and honour to people of Sindh.He made this announcement at a joint news conference with PPP leaders at Ghotki on Wednesday afternoon.President PPP Women Wing Faryal Talpur‚ Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Federal Minister Syed Khurshid Shah were present on the occasion.Welcoming joining of PPP by Mehr clan‚ Faryal Talpur said this is in line with the reconciliation policy of the party that is aimed at taking all concerned along for strengthening of the democracy.She said the PPP is the single largest party and joining of more personalities and people would lend it more strength.Syed Qaim Ali Shah said joining of PPP by more people is a tribute to the political acumen of its Co-Chairperson President Asif Ali Zardari.He said the despite rumor mongering by some quarters‚ the democratic government is set to complete its mandated five year term.
