The electricity shortfall in the country again jumped to 5,200 MW due to the non-payment to oil companies.According to sources, power plants have been supplied with 24,000 tonnes of furnace oil instead of 39,000 tonnes.The loadshedding hours in urban areas have been increased to 14-16 hours while in rural areas 16-18 hours.
