Summary Caravan of JUI-S leader Mufiti Hamadullah came under miscreant attack in Karachi.

According to details, some unidentified gunmen attacked the caravan of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Sami-ul-Haq Groupe) Mufiti Hamadullah Madni outside Jamia Shafiq-ul-Islam in Gulshan Iqbal 13 C in Karachi on night between Sunday and Monday. All the members of Caravan remained safe in the attack.Police reached the spot after the incident and a police mobile has been stationed at the seminary main entrance.On the other hand, participants of a marriage ceremony on their return resorted to aerial firing outside a bungalow at the Khalid Bin Walid Road. Police reached the spot after residents lodged a protest and arrested nine people.Police have also recovered eight Kalashnikovs, one G3 and repeater from the arrested persons and registered a case against them.Meanwhile, a fired employee of the Anti Car Lifting Cell Sharifabad, Shafiq, was critically wounded during a police encounter with car lifters in Mithadar area. He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. According to police, an encounter with with car lifter took place in Mithadar area when police chased a stolen vehicle. However, the accused managed to escape. In another incident of violence, some unidentified gunmen opened fire and critically wounded a man at Liaquat Chowk near Rizvia.
