Former PM Yousuf Raza Gilani said this while was talking to newsmen along with Pir Pagara Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi after their meeting in Lahore on Sunday.He said that no clash will take place if all the institutions work within their constitutional ambits.Gilani said general elections will be held in free‚ fair and transparent manner as it is also in the interest of Pakistan Peoples Party.He said PML (F) is coalition partner of the government and every effort will be made to continue this partnership in future as well.On this occasion, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara predicted that he does not see general elections being held soon in the country.“The ground reality is such that the elections will not be held soon, but it is everyone’s right to prepare for the elections,” he predicted.Pir Pagra said that the government is unable to control law and order situation in Karachi. He said that law and order in Karachi could be improved within a fortnight if the appointments are made on merit.
