Summary MQM chief Altaf Hussain has said innocent people are being killed in the name of sectarian enmity.
If situation in the country persists on the same pattern, every sect would call for separate state for its survival, said Altaf in his fiery speech.He also called for stern action against the people who give relief and relaxation to miscreants.While addressing a Conference on Unity among Muslim in Karachi, he said that it is not time of hypocritical tactics; the religious scholars should clarify that either they would deliver lectures in mosques or come in the field in order to stop sectarianism.He said that billions of rupees are being spent on law enforcement agencies but they have totally failed to secure lives and properties of the people.He said that it is regrettable to say that terrorists are nabbed and then freed at the cost of personal interests of special mafia.The officials involved in giving relief and relaxation to the guilty and criminal people should be brought to justice while setting aside all kinds of compromises.While paying tribute to judiciary that judiciary role for rule of law in the country is commendable and with the passage of time it would become more sound and stable.He said that the country is confronted with internal and external dangers and the enemy is benefitting out of our schism and sectarianism.
