Summary Basra terms FIR a shallow defamatory trick to demoralize him.
The FIR was registered against deputy opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Shaukat Basra in Haroonabad in on land grabbing charges.Talking to Private TV, Basra said such shallow defamatory tricks could not faze a staunch Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) worker like him.He said that since 1978 his house had been standing on the chunk of land he was accused of grabbing.The FIR was registered against him on the complaint of TMO Haroonabad.
