Summary A three-member larger bench will hear the out-of-turn promotions related applications from Monday.
A two-member bench comprising Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali and Justice Ameer Hani Muslim heard the out of turn promotion cases in Supreme Court Karachi registry on Friday.The two-member bench forwarded the applications pertaining to the out of turn promotions to a three-member larger bench.The larger bench will hear the applications from Monday.Expressing dissatisfaction over chief secretary and IG Sindh police, Supreme Court said that both officials were falling under the contempt of court for not complying with the court orders.The court sent former local government secretary Ali Ahmed and director anti-corruption Zulfiqar Nazamani, working on deputation, back to their departments.
