Summary Lawyers in Balochistan and Punjab are observing strike against the assassination of Session Judge.
On the call of Balochistan Bar Association and Punjab Bar Council, the lawyers are on complete strike in high courts, district courts and other subordinate courts. Black flags have been hoisted on closed bar rooms. The courtrooms presented a deserted look as the lawyers boycotted all court proceedings.Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Hussain Naqvi along with his driver and gunman were shot dead on Thursday in GOR Colony Quetta.The Balochistan Bar Association (BBA) President Dawood Kasi had announced a two-day boycott of courts all over Balochistan in protest against the target killing.Lawyers in Karachi also observed a day of protest by boycotting all court proceedings on Thursday.
