Summary Supreme Court Chief Justice has said that democracy in the country is running with the rule of law.
And he is seeing survival of all these institutions in supremacy of law and the constitution, said Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.While having a meeting with delegations of various Bar Associations in Karachi, the Chief Justice said that black coat, black tie and black cameras had played very important role for rule of law in the country.He said in regrettable manner that law enforcing institutions are not fulfilling their responsibilities.“Circumstances in the country have become so crucial and uncertain that even lawyers and judges are not secure”, said Chief Justice.Chaudhary Iftikhar said that it is duty of the government to provide shelter to the lives and property of people; survival of everybody rests with the rule of law, said Chief Justice.
