LHC orders allocation of Hajj quota on merit

The Lahore High Court has issued order to allocate Hajj quota on merit and disposed off the case.

LHC Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard a case regarding allocation of Hajj quota. The court ordered the Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs to follow merit and not to give quota to the defaulter tour operators. He directed the secretary to go through the quota and strike off names of defaulter tour operators.
