Summary Five people plucked the eyes and cut the nose and ears of a barber in Depalpur.
The victim Yousaf was thrown into a field after being mutilated by the five accused.The poor barber was at home when one woman of the village Nasim Bibi called him to a nearby fields, where the local landlord was waiting for him along with the five accomplices.The landlord Mian Khan suspected that the victim had illicit relations with his daughter Mukhtar Bibi. With knives, they attacked his eyes along with ruthlessly cutting his nose, ears and tongue.They threw the victim in the fields after committing the crime. The city police have formed the police teams to arrest the culprits.The victim is said to be in a critical condition and has been removed to Jinnah Hospital. The Punjab government has given direction for the treatment of the victim.
