Summary Loadshedding continued in Lahore and other Punjab cities despite government promises on Eid.
Government had announced that there would be no loadshedding during the Eid holidays but failed to honour the promise as Lahore and other cities witnessed incessant outages on Eid day.Officials say the shortfall could not come down from 4200 MW and this was the reason for the unannounced loadshedding.Electricity supply is being suspended for ten hours in big cities and for 15 hours in rural areas.
