The authorities on Saturday extended the powers of rangers for another three more months due to the deteriorating law and order situation in Karachi.Sindh Home Department has issued an extension notification on the directives of the Sindh government.According to the powers, rangers can carry out operations in any areas and make arrests.At least 10 people were shot dead in fresh wave of target killings during last 24hours.Owing to the deteriorating situation in Sindhs capital, rangers personnel deployed in the city were given special powers in 2011.
