Supreme Court on Thursday adjourned the hearing of federations review petition in NRO implementation case for an indefinite period of time.A five member bench headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa resumed the case hearing.During case proceeding, Attorney General Irfan Qadir submitted before the court that government wants to resolve the issue amicably:He said presence of Law Minister Farooq H Naek in the court room is proof of government’s seriousness in the case.Government is ready to resolve the matter in the light of courts observation, he added.Justice Asif Saeed Khosa remarked that court observation was limited to paragraph 177 and 178 of the NRO implementation order, which needs to be implemented.Law Minister Farooq H Naek submitted before the court that the government does not want confrontation amongst the institutions.Later, while talking to the media persons outside the Supreme Court‚ Law Minister Farooq H Naek said the government will follow the constitution and law in the NRO implementation case.He said that Pakistan Peoples Party will hold discussion within the party and at the coalition level to find out solution of the matter in accordance with the law.
