Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Sunday said Pakistan would talk to India boldly in New York. He said Pakistan could not fight on two fronts simultaneously, adding that it could only focus on western border if eastern front was secure. Shah Mehmood Qureshi said India had confirmed bilateral negotiations with Pakistan in New York, adding that foreign ministers level talks would also be held after dialogue between foreign secretaries. Talking to media at Multan airport, he said that Pakistan regretted Mumbai attacks but both the countries need to move forward. The foreign minister reiterated that foreign ministers level talks were in the interest of both the neighboring countries. Qureshi urged India to show flexibility as Pakistan was ever ready for the negotiations. He told that Kashmiri leaders were taken into confidence on New York meetings. Talking about Gilgit-Baltistan and Bunji Dam issue, he said Indian concerns on the issue would be addressed. On Friends of Pakistan (FOP) forum, Qureshi said the forum was not being used for fund generation but to increase the number of friends.
