Attorney General and Federal Secretary for Religious Affairs have also been ordered to appear in the court on next hearing.When two-member bench commenced hearing of the case in Supreme Court Lahore Registry, Hindu organization’s Secretary General Amarnath stated that some mafia and government institutions have illegally and unlawfully captured their land across the Punjab, with the prayer that the court should issue special orders for release of their encroached lands.The court while declaring the petition maintainable has ordered to end the encroachment within a month.Justice Azmat Shaikh has remarked that it is responsibility of the state to provide security to minorities.
