Political matters should be settled in parliament rather than in the Supreme Court, said SC Bar president Yasin Azad.While talking to the media in Rahimyar Khan, he said that if all the issues are tried to be resolved in the Supreme Court, law and order situation in the country would go from bad to worse.He said that the Constitution is supreme and it is the Constitution which keeps all the institutions in their jurisdiction.While reminding functions of institutions, he said that parliament makes laws while judiciary has powers to have check and balance on it.Throwing light on current issues, he said the Contempt of Court Law was made in hurry; it is first time in the history of the country that about 26 petitions were filed against the bill, concluded Bar president.
