Summary PML-N leader Ch Nisar says Imran involved in tax evasion, money laundering.
Addressing a press conference leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Thursday hurled another set of allegations against PTI chief Imran Khan.He said how a person who evaded tax all his life can claim to end corruption within 90 days.Nisar said when Imran constructed his house there was no mention of where the money was coming from in his tax returns.“I am presenting documents regarding a person who did tax evasion for 30 years and is involved in money laundering,” said Chaudhry Nisar.He said that Khan has no source of income but has international bank accounts.Before alleging others, he should at least look at himself first. We don’t claim to be angels. Yes, we did some mistakes in the past. But he claims to be an angel.”About Sharif family’s assets Nisar said that the flats in Mayfair were not hidden from anyone and they were bought on loans.“It has been almost 20 years since the flats were bought, but the loans have still not been paid back. It is not something unusual, it is on record.”Nisar said the children of Nawaz Sharif had nothing to do with politics, adding Hassan Sharif was running his own business in England which is legal.Imran makes tall claims. Why doesn’t he go to the courts of London and say that the flats were bought via money laundering or through wrong means?”Nisar said Imran was hiding his hiding his corruption behind Shaukat Khanum Hospital.He said Imran and Rehman Malik had the same agendaNisar said Raymond Baker’s book, most of the allegations are against Asif Zardari but Imran does not mention those.He added that in the same book, there were several accusations against army generals but Imran never exposes them.He asked Imran to avoid media trial and approach a court to finally decide the truth.However, he said politics of allegations should be avoided.
