A two-member bench of the apex court heard court contempt case against Malik Riaz on Thursday.Malik Riaz’s counsel Abdul Basit requested the court to adjourn the hearing of the case as his client had already filed an intra court appeal.Later, the appeal was dismissed and the bench indicted Malik Riaz with contempt charges.Malik Riaz was indicted over his June 12 press conference over which the court had issued a show cause notice to him for scandalising and ridiculing the judiciary.The hearing of the case has been adjourned till August 29.
