Commenting on the court judgment in NRO implementation case‚ former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association and renowned lawyer Asma Jehangir said on Wednesday is a dark day in the history of the country.She said those sitting in the courts are actually undermining the image of the judiciary with their conductShe said the judgment was given in haste. This haste is feared to be part of some planning which is not good for the country.She said when court gives orders on political basis instead of keeping in view the law‚ then they lost confidence of the people.Asma Jehangir said we have rendered sacrifices for the supremacy of this institution.“We want to see a strong judiciary but we are not in favor of an absolute power exercised by any institution.”
