Summary PIF has appealed to the President for treatment of Sindh writer Shamsher-ul-Haideri.
Writers from Pakistan Intellectual Forum have appealed to President Asif Ali Zardari to facilitate funding for the treatment of versatile Sindh writer Shamsher-ul-Haideri.Shamsher-ul-Hadieri, battling with illness, has no money for adequate medical treatment abroad.Noted author and researcher, Dr Khadim Hussain Soomro has said Sindhi writers have produced works that vividly portray the picture of Sindhi society and subtly bring out the ills in it.He said Shamsherul Haideri has always been in the vanguard.“The authorities concerned must not hesitate to arrange Mr. Shamsherul Haideri’s treatment from abroad because he is one of the rare writers, dramatists, thinkers, poets, researchers and staunch disciple of Hazrat Abdul Latif Bhittai,” he maintained.
