At Chashma, Indus River System Authority has reduced water outflow from 32,000 to 22,000 cusecs. Punjab government lodged a protest against the move.In a letter sent to Chairman IRSA, Punjab government has stated that cut in water share will affect crops in southern Punjab including Rahim Yar Khan and other adjoining areas.
