The doctors in government and private hospitals of Balochistan including Quetta are observing a strike on the call of Pakistan Medical Association against the kidnapping of a doctor of Bolan Medical Complex (BMC).The emergency service was suspended for more than 20 hours after which the doctors resumed their dutuies while the Outdoor Patient Departments (OPDs) have been shut of all private and public hospitals of Balochistan for the third consecutive day. Psychiatrist Dr Ghulam Rasool of BMC hospital was kidnapped from Brewery Road on Wednesday.The doctors have vowed to continue their protest until the recovery of Dr Rasool.
