Summary Council of federation Shakoor Piracha presented arguments in contempt of court case Tuesday.

Submitting his arguments before the Supreme Court Bench during the hearing of petitions filed against the newly enacted contempt of court law, Federations counselShakoor Piracha said parliament had the absolute authority to legislate on any matter and laws passed by it cannot be challenged.He said the Contempt of Court Law in no way infringes upon the authority of the Supreme Court.The case is being heard by five-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan justice Iftikhar Muhammad Choudry.
