Summary At least four people including a policeman were killed in firing incidents in Karachi on Monday.
According to police, some unknown people gunned down a police constable namely Sikander who was coming out of mosque after the prayer in Khyber Chowk locality of Site area. The victim was a resident of Khotki who was deputed at Firozabad police station.In another incident, some unidentified motorcyclists shot dead a youth namely Umar Fahim and injured Akbar in Landhi Daood Chorangi area while a bullet-riddled body was found from a ground in Bhitaiabad area of Gulistan-e-Johar.Meanwhile, a man was injured when a policeman allegedly opened aerial firing after a dispute in Kati Pahari area of Qasba Colony. The victim succumbed to his injuries at hospital.Muhammad Pur Police detained the police official after the incident while the residents of the area laid siege to the police station and demanded to take action against the accused.Extra police force was called in due to enraged demonstration of the protesters.
