Summary If it had not been NRO, neither Nawaz Sharif would have come back in country nor judges restored.
The people talking about respect of judiciary are forgetful of the reality that judges have declared the PML-N corrupt, said Sindh minister for information Sharjeel Memon. While talking to the media after inauguration ceremony of Smart Card for Sindh Secretariat employees with the cooperation of NADEA in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said that it is very strange that the PPP is vehemently criticised from NRO point of view but the reality is that the PML-N mostly benefitted out of this contract. He said that if the NRO had not come into existence, Pervez Musharraf would have been sovereign in the country.Sharjeel said that the parliament has empowered the president with exemption and it is entitled to take this power back, adding that if any conspiracy is hatched against the PPP, party worker would forcefully retaliate, said Memon. He stressed it is regrettable to say that the PPP is always criticized from corruption point of view, but when Sharif brothers’ corruption is highlighted, it is overlooked by terming it case of the past.Throwing light on the introduction of current system, he said that about 36,000 fake employees have been traced by introducing computerized data. It would also help save Rs 6.5 billion. He said that 1284 people are rendering dual services while 381 employees have been paid salaries after their death.
