The number of peacocks’ deaths has reached 155 as 50 more peacocks died in Sanghar on Sunday.Ranikhet virus has started spreading in other cities of Sindh after a large number of peacocks died in Mitthi and its adjacent areas.Meanwhile, the Punjab government has imposed a ban on baying of peacocks for Punjab zoos from Sindh.It is negligence of the Game Warden and Wildlife Department, the peacock breeders in Sanghar had no information about vaccination against the disease and they are still using the poultry vaccine.
