Summary Police has declared the security of foreign projects across Punjab as unsatisfactory.
Dunya News has obtained a report prepared by senior officers of Punjab Police and the civil administration that reveals that security of foreign projects in Punjab is under threat.According to the report the foreign nationals are engaged in 193 projects in Punjab out of which 173 projects’ security is not satisfactory.In Lahore security of all 40 foreign projects is unsatisfactory while 35 out of 37 foreign projects in Faisalabad face security threats.In Rawalpindi only 8 out of 31 ongoing projects have satisfactory security situation while security of 23 projects is unsatisfactory.Likewise, the security of foreign projects is not satisfactory in different cities including Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, and Dera Ghazi Khan.After the concerns published in the report, the police officers and the civil administration have been directed to increase and improve the security of foreign projects in Punjab.
