US drone strike kills 5 in North Waziristan

At least five people were killed and many others injured as a suspected US drone aircraft fired missiles in the North Waziristan Agency, the tribal area bordering Afghanistan, Dunya News reported Monday. The drone targeted a militants centre in Muchi Khel area of Tehsil Mir Ali in the North Waziristan Agency, killing five people in the strike. More casualties are feared however no reports have been received as which important Taliban figure was killed during the strike. Taliban have cordoned off the area after the attack.
